Painted Paws for Veterans limits certain programs and services to veterans of the U.S. Armed Forces. For our purposes, the term “veteran” is defined as any individual who has served a minimum of 90 days of active duty or mobilized service in one of the U.S. Armed Forces, and has been discharged under other than dishonorable conditions.

Veteran status may be established by providing a copy of an active duty or retiree military identification card, Form DD-214, or a disability award letter from the Veteran’s Administration.

Programs and services are open to all veterans regardless of age, gender, ethnicity, religion or sexual orientation.
